Neurotoxin Injectables

Often collectively referred to as “Botox," neurotoxin injectables are derivatives of botulinum toxins. Botox is one such brand. Small amounts of these neurotoxins are injected into muscle groups to cause temporary paralysis of the muscles. When used in the forehead area and the frown lines, the paralysis of these muscles reduces the appearance of wrinkles. We offer neurotoxin injectables in the forehead and glabellar area (frown lines), crows feet, bunny lines, lip flip, and the masseters (for jaw clenching that causes jaw pain and/or headaches, or to soften an angular jaw line).  We offer Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin. 

The potency units of between neurotoxin products are not interchangeable. The number of units required to achieve desired outcomes is different for every individual.

Masseter Injections:

• Botox $10/unit

• Most people experience an onset of action within 3-10 days, that can last 3-4 months. 

• Please do not schedule your treatment within 2-3 weeks of an important event (in case of bruising, and to allow for touch-ups if necessary).

• We will touch base 7-10 days following your treatment. If you require a touch-up, we will gladly see you back  to make sure you are fully satisfied with your results. 

• Regular injections usually yield a longer lasting result from neurotoxin injectables.
